Jacob Lessard graduated from McGill University’s music faculty program with a concentration in classical violin performance. A multi-instrumentalist, he can play any instrument you throw at him.

Jacob composes music for short films, documentaries and podcasts. He enjoys the challenge of drawing out the emotional and dramatic features from a scene to create a distinctive musical landscape.

Otherwise you will find Jacob listening to Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in his Montreal studio in The Plateau. Inspired by the classics, he also draws from his love of Radiohead, Bill Evans and Klezmer.
